I love what I do. Counseling is my passion and I value every relationship I have with my clients. I know counseling works, I have seen the rewards and celebrated the victories. Counseling is also a lot of work, there is no magic pill or words which simply make everything better. Traveling the journey of healing with my clients is why I do what I do. I have lived in the Arvada area for 25 years, and saying that makes me feel old. I have been married for 27 years and we have a 18 year old and a 24 year old. The majority of my family and extended family live within the Denver area.
What does this mean to you? I am a 49 year old person, who is on a journey of my own, I understand the ebb and flow of marriage, the challenges of parenting, and I am blessed to know there is always someone I can call to help me. There is also always someone there to challenge my patience and my boundaries. I understand from my own experiences and those of my clients the impact illness, job loss and divorce can have on a family and its individual members.
